Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups dried figs, chopped
  • 1 and 1/4 cups baking flour
  • 3/4 cup oat flakes
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup Sana bio Tahini Classic sesame paste
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • sesame seeds

 

Preparation

Heat the oven at 190°C and prepare 12 muffin cups.

Pour boiling water over figs, leave for 10 minutes until they soften and remove the water.

 

In a medium bowl add flour, oats, baking powder, salt, and put aside.

In a large bowl add Sana Tahini Classic sesame paste, milk and eggs and mix until the mixture is smooth. Add brown sugar, all the remaining dry ingredients, and mix in the figs at the end.

 

Fill the muffin cups up to half, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for about 20 minutes until they are nice and golden.
