• 800 g lean beef steak meat
  • 200 g Sana Vegetable Mix
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp pesto (basil pesto)
  • soft cornmeal and basil leaves for decoration



Brush beef meat with olive oil. Bring a large non-sticky pan to high heat. Roast the beef for 1-2 minutes on each side or until it becomes brown. Then take the beef out of the pan and place it on the grate in the oven. Put a spoon of pesto on top of the beef and spread it evenly over the top side. Bake for 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C. When the meat is ready, bring it out of the oven, cover it loosely with a foil and allow it rest for 15 minutes.


Pour the Sana Vegetable Mix into a frying pan and bring to medium heat. Cut the beef opposite to the direction of fiber to get steaks of equal thickness. Serve the steaks with Sana Vegetable Mix, soft cornmeal and basil leaves. Bon appetite!
